Ainsi s’achève une année inoubliable, et je rentre chez moi la tête pleine de souvenirs.

Forcément, j’ai le cafard, car c’est une page qui se tourne, définitivement… Et cette année a été tellement géniale que cela sera difficile à reproduire. Une année riche en rencontres, en rires, et en découvertes de toutes sortes. C’est un enrichissement incroyable que de partir un an à l’étranger. Vraiment. Et forcément, on en revient un peu différent…

Oui, une page se tourne, mais une nouvelle s’ouvre… Alors, je verrai bien quelle tournure ma vie va prendre en France. J’ai fini de faire ma valise, ma chambre est tout vide, j’ai fait mes adieux et je pars dans 4 heures, à 5H30 du matin.

Je précise que je continuerai néanmoins ce blog. À bientôt, pour de nouvelles aventures !

An unforgettable year is finishing now, and I go back home with many remembrances. Of course, I’m feeling sad, because a page is turning, definitely. And I really enjoyed this year, so it will be difficult to reproduce. A year which was full of meetings, laughs, and of many kinds of discoveries. It’s an incredible enrichment to go abroad for one year. Really. And consequently, when you come back, you are a little bit different...

Yes, a page is turning, but another is opening... So, I will see the turning that my life will take in France. I have finishing packing, my room is totally empty, I said “goodbye” to everybody, and I’m leaving in four hours, at 5.30 in the morning.

I precise that I will continue this blog. Therefore, see you soon for new adventures !

Yesterday, we celebrated the birthday of a Spanish friend, Nestor. There were many Spaniards, some Japanese people, some Chinese people, and a few French.

The evening was nice. Nestor received a present from China.

Hier, nous avons fêté l’anniversaire de Nestor, un ami espagnol. Il y avait beaucoup d’espagnols, quelques japonais et chinois, et un peu moins de français.

La soirée a été très sympathique. Nestor a même reçu un cadeau de Chine !

He also received another present from Reiko, Yukie, Nathalie, and me : a fireman uniform ! Strange, he didn’t want to try it ! I wonder why...

Il a aussi eu un autre cadeau de la part de Reiko, Yukie, Nathalie, et moi : un uniforme de pompier ! Je me demande pourquoi il n’a pas voulu l’essayer…

Hier soir, en sortant d’un pub, j’ai vu un groupe d’anglais déguisés en militaires, qui braillaient et s’agitaient. J’ai essayé de faire une vidéo rapide. D’accord, ce n’est pas sensationnel, mais c’est juste pour vous donner un aperçu des comportements anglais à la sortie des pubs. On peut aussi apercevoir Nathalie à la fin de la vidéo. Le son est plus intéressant que l’image, en fait, étant donné qu’il fait très sombre. (pour ceux qui ne peuvent pas lire la vidéo, cliquez ici)

Yesterday night, while I was going out from a pub, I’ve seen a group of English people screaming and moving. I tried to do a quick film. OK, it’s not sensational, but it’s just to give you a quick view of some English behaviour when they go out. We also can see Nathalie, at the end of the video. Hier, je me sentais un peu mélancolique car j’ai fait mes premiers adieux. Je quitte Oxford dans une semaine, et j’ai vu tous les gens de l’“international café” pour la dernière fois ! Je n’aime pas les “au revoir” ! Je n’ai rien écrit hier, même si j’en avais envie, car j’avais un examen d’italien à préparer. Je l’ai fait ce matin, ça y est, les partiels sont finis ! Ça fait plaisir ! Du coup, aujourd’hui, je suis plus surexcitée que mélancolique. J’ai passé l’après-midi avec Nathalie et Mika à faire l’andouille.. Milk-shakes, délires en rapport avec du riz et du vinaigre (trop bête et pas assez drôle pour l’expliquer), et essayages de perruques en faisant “coucou” aux gens par la fenêtre, voici notre programme de l’après-midi ! Enfin, j’ai vraiment apprécié cet après-midi ! (Photos un peu plus bas)

Yesterday, I felt a bit melancholy, because I said my first farewells. I’m leaving Oxford in one week, and I saw all the people from the “international café” for the last time ! I don’t like goodbyes ! I didn’t write anything yesterday even if I wanted to, because I have an Italian exam to prepare. I did it this morning, and it was the last one ! It’s so nice ! Therefore, today, I was feening more overexcited than melancholy ! I spent the afternoon with Nathalie and Mika, being stupid. Our programm of the afternoon : Milk-shakes, crazy conversations about rice and vinegar (to stupid and not enough funny to give details...), and wigs’tries while saying to the people outside. Oh nooooo ! Ridiculous, but I really enjoy my afternoon !

L'attaque du bouc !

Aujourd’hui encore, il a fait un temps magnifique à Oxford. Avec Nathalie, nous avons donc décidé d’aller réviser notre examen d’italien dans un parc. Enfin, nous avons essayé de réviser, car avec les petits oiseaux et l’animation extérieure, ce n’est pas si évident de se concentrer ! Vous avez vu comme nous sommes contentes de réviser, sur la photo ! Et oui, qu’est-ce que nous sommes studieuses ! Au retour, nous avons rencontré Dan et Shonn, qui nous ont narguées comme à chaque fois qu’ils nous croisent, car messieurs n’ont plus d’examens. Pffffffff ! (désolée, la photo est de très mauvaise qualité).

Une heure plus tard, je suis partie faire un footing, et j’ai failli me faire rentrer dedans par un bouc ! Je courais tranquillement, quand un bouc a déboulé à toute vitesse d’un buisson, a traversé le chemin, et s’est jeté dans la haie de l’autre côté… Le problème, c’est qu’il y avait un grillage qu’il n’avait pas vu. Du coup, il a rebondi sur le grillage, a fait demi-tour en courant partout sous le coup de la panique, puis a fini par trouver un passage dans un buisson et est reparti. Je me demande d’où il sortait celui-là ! En tout cas, je peux vous dire que ça fait un drôle d’effet quand un bouc surexcité surgit de nulle part !

Today, the weather was very nice again in Oxford. Therefore, with Nathalie, we decided to go in a park to learn for our exams. Well, we tried to, because with the birds and the outside’s animation , it’s difficult to be concentrated ! Look at the picture, and you’ll see how happy we were to revise ! Yes, we are very studious. While we came back, we met Dan and Shonn, and they laughed at us like each time we see them, because those guys have no exams anymore. Pfffffffffff ! (Sorry, the picture has a very bad quality).

One hour later, I went to run, and a he-goat was about to crash into me ! I was running, when suddenly, a he-goat arrived very quickly from a bush, crossed the path, and jumped into the hedge of the other side. But there were a wire-netting that he didn’t see, so he bounced off it, and did a half turn running everywhere because he was very panicking, then he found a way in a bush and left. I wonder where he came from, that one ! Anyway, I can tell you that it’s a very surprising impression when an overexcited he-goat arrives from nowhere !
